DONNA MAZEROLLE
Since 2003, when Donna Mazerolle, CPA, CMA founded Donna Mazerolle & Associates, Chartered Professional Accountants, Donna has strived to redefine the typical accounting/client relationship.

She’s never been one that tries to fit in and she certainly doesn’t expect or want her clients to fit into a mold either.
She takes the time to get to know you, your business and your goals. Then creates a service package that is as individual as you are.
She’s a pro at challenging business models and helping her clients rethink their numbers to help them reach their goals. And, above all, this experienced advisor is in your corner.
Prior to founding Donna Mazerolle & Associates, Donna worked her way up through the ranks in the world of business starting as a Cost Analyst; Manufacturing- 87, to Accounting Supervisor; Manufacturing -90, to Business Auditor; CRA – 91, to Accounting Manager; Wholesale/Retail/Distribution – 95, to Controller; Manufacturing – 97, and CFO Manufacturing – 2000.
She is the very proud mother of two daughters, Jamie and Jules. In her spare time you will find her volunteering at various charities and not for profits, sailing, hiking, gardening, and doing home improvements.

BRIANNA NASH
Brianna fell in love with Donna’s laid back and supportive style and knew she’d found her space in the accounting world. She’s been with Donna Mazerolle & Associates since 2013, and says “small firm life really appeals to me and my desire to continually grow professionally. And, it’s amazing that I get to know our clients, their families and their goals. We aren’t just pounding out financials, we are invested in our clients.”

She is fueled by seeing light bulbs go off for clients. To many, accounting is so confusing, she takes pride in being able to help it makes sense for her clients.
A graduate of both NBCC and UNB, Brianna has earned her Chartered Professional Accounting designation in 2020.
Brianna married her partner, Cody in 2020 and welcomed a handsome baby boy, Aiden, in 2023. Nothing can make the entire office smile quicker than a visit from Mr. Aiden!
Brianna and her family, along with their dog, Lui, enjoy spending time outdoors, camping with family, and trying all types of local cuisine. If they’re not exploring here, they’re visiting their hometown of Miramichi, NB, which holds a special place in her heart.
From corporate and personal tax returns to year-end financial statements and client training, Brianna spends her days in the world of numbers so you don’t have to. (Don’t worry, she loves it!)
Together with Donna, Brianna is part of our Fractional CFO team.
JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
ASHLEY MURPHY
If you are going to have someone who is a bit “too organized” in your life, I bet you’d want that to be your bookkeeper!? Ashley has been a great complement to the Donna Mazerolle & Associates team since starting with the firm in 2018, and clients love working with her even though she often asks them to pay more attention to tracking! We know they are more than grateful to have someone who cares as much as she does, pushing them to be organized.

Ashley graduated from NBCC with an Office Administration Executive certificate and has earned her Certificate in Accounting from UNB.
Ashley loves animals of all shapes & sizes. She especially loves her fur babies, Piper & Charlie, but never forgetting her old friend Buck and her special boy Blue, whose memories are forever cherished.
Outside the office, Ashley loves adventuring with her pets and her partner, Rick. Together they spend their weekends exploring our beautiful province on their ATVs, throughout the trails of southern New Brunswick. Ashley also helps take care of her “little” brother, whom has special needs and holds such a special part of her heart.
Ashley enjoys working in a small business like DMA where coworkers feel like family and she has the ability to go above and beyond for clients.
OFFICE MANAGER
CAROL RYAN
Meet Carol, our Office Manager & Administrative Support Person.
Carol started in January 2022 and has been a ray of sunshine from the moment she entered the door.

A true “West-sider”, Carol has lived here the majority of her life except for the 8 years she resided in Alberta. She is the proud mom of two sons, Mark and Mitchell who also reside in Saint John. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her friends, working on DIY projects at her house, gardening, supporting community events and travelling to various destinations near & far.
Carol has had an extensive career in the areas of healthcare, both the Insurance and Construction industries and as a Legal Assistant. Now calling DMA home, Carol is the team member who sends the friendly replies to your emails and the bubbly voice who answers your calls. If you come to visit us at the office, Carol will be the smiling face that greets you at the door. When not being our DMA “Greeter”, she is spending much of her time running the office, processing our paperwork and keeping the rest of us on track.
Whether it’s assisting our clients with their inquiries and needs or taking care of the rest of the DMA team, she is certainly the go-to person for any inquiries about DMA that you and your business may have!
